Salamanca Erasmus Trips organiza una excursión totalmente nueva a uno de los rincones más espectaculares y sorprendentes del norte de Portugal: las Pasarelas del Côa y la feria medieval de Torre de Moncorvo.

Por la mañana nos dirigiremos al Parque Arqueológico del Valle del Côa, un espacio natural único declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Allí recorreremos las impresionantes pasarelas del Côa, un itinerario de madera integrado en el paisaje que nos permitirá disfrutar de vistas espectaculares del valle, el río y la naturaleza salvaje de la zona. Un lugar perfecto para caminar, desconectar y hacer fotos increíbles.

De manera opcional, quienes lo deseen podrán visitar el Museo del Côa, uno de los museos arqueológicos más importantes de Portugal, dedicado a los famosos grabados rupestres prehistóricos del valle, considerados uno de los mayores conjuntos de arte paleolítico al aire libre del mundo.

A mediodía nos desplazaremos a Torre de Moncorvo, una encantadora villa portuguesa que nos recibirá completamente transformada gracias a su feria medieval. Durante toda la tarde podremos disfrutar libremente de su ambiente histórico: calles decoradas, puestos de artesanía, gastronomía tradicional, música, espectáculos, recreaciones medievales y un ambiente único que nos hará viajar varios siglos atrás en el tiempo.

Una excursión perfecta que combina naturaleza, cultura, historia y diversión en uno de los eventos más atractivos del norte de Portugal.

Salamanca Erasmus Trips organizes a trip for the first time to one of the most surprising and beautiful areas of northern Portugal: the Côa Walkways and the Medieval Fair of Torre de Moncorvo.

In the morning we will head to the Côa Valley Archaeological Park, a unique natural area declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There we will walk along the impressive Côa walkways, a wooden path perfectly integrated into the landscape, offering breathtaking views of the valley, the river and the surrounding wild nature. It is an ideal place to relax, walk and take amazing photos.

Optionally, participants will be able to visit the Côa Museum, one of the most important archaeological museums in Portugal, dedicated to the famous prehistoric rock engravings of the valley, considered one of the largest open-air Paleolithic art sites in the world.

At midday we will travel to Torre de Moncorvo, a charming Portuguese town that will be completely transformed by its medieval fair. Throughout the afternoon you will have free time to enjoy the historical atmosphere: decorated streets, craft markets, traditional food, music, shows, medieval reenactments and a unique ambience that will take you back several centuries.

A perfect day trip combining nature, culture, history and fun in one of the most attractive events in northern Portugal.
