Salamanca Erasmus Trips te propone una escapada inolvidable para descubrir dos de las ciudades más bonitas de España: Sevilla y Cáceres.

Nuestra primera parada será Itálica, una de las ciudades romanas más importantes de la antigua Hispania. Este impresionante conjunto arqueológico es conocido no solo por su valor histórico, sino también por haber sido escenario de varias escenas de la popular serie Juego de Tronos, donde representó el emblemático Pozo Dragón. Tendremos la oportunidad de recorrer sus ruinas y conocer la historia de una ciudad que vio nacer a emperadores romanos como Trajano y Adriano.

A continuación, nos dirigiremos a Sevilla, donde realizaremos el check-in en nuestro alojamiento, el Oasis Backpackers Palace, un moderno hostal situado en pleno centro de la ciudad y que cuenta con una fantástica piscina en la azotea.

Una vez instalados, descubriremos la capital andaluza de la mano de un guía local que nos mostrará algunos de sus lugares más emblemáticos, como la Torre del Oro, el Parque de María Luisa, la Plaza de España, el Real Alcázar, el Barrio de Santa Cruz, el Puente de Triana y muchos otros rincones llenos de historia, cultura y encanto.

El domingo por la mañana dispondremos de tiempo libre para seguir disfrutando de Sevilla, visitar aquellos lugares que hayan quedado pendientes o simplemente perderse por sus calles y disfrutar de su ambiente único.

Por la tarde iniciaremos el regreso a Salamanca, realizando una parada de aproximadamente dos horas en Cáceres, ciudad declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Allí podremos recorrer su espectacular casco histórico medieval, considerado uno de los mejor conservados de Europa, y descubrir el encanto de sus plazas, palacios y callejuelas empedradas.

Un fin de semana perfecto para disfrutar de la historia, la cultura, la gastronomía y el ambiente de dos ciudades imprescindibles de España.

Salamanca Erasmus Trips invites you to join an unforgettable weekend getaway to discover two of the most beautiful cities in Spain: Seville and Cáceres.

Our first stop will be Itálica, one of the most important Roman cities in ancient Hispania. This impressive archaeological site is famous not only for its historical significance but also for having served as a filming location for several scenes of the popular TV series Game of Thrones, where it was featured as the iconic Dragonpit. We will have the opportunity to explore its remarkable ruins and learn about the history of a city that gave birth to Roman emperors such as Trajan and Hadrian.

Afterwards, we will travel to Seville, where we will check in at our accommodation, Oasis Backpackers Palace, a modern hostel located in the heart of the city and featuring a fantastic rooftop swimming pool.

Once settled, we will discover the Andalusian capital with a guided tour led by a local guide. During the tour, we will visit some of Seville’s most iconic landmarks, including the Torre del Oro, María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the Royal Alcázar, the Santa Cruz Quarter, Triana Bridge, and many other charming places full of history and culture.

On Sunday morning, you will have free time to continue exploring Seville, visit places you may have missed the previous day, or simply enjoy wandering through its beautiful streets and soaking up its unique atmosphere.

In the afternoon, we will begin our journey back to Salamanca, making a stop of approximately two hours in Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage City. There, we will explore its spectacular medieval old town, considered one of the best-preserved historic centres in Europe, and enjoy the unique charm of its squares, palaces, and cobbled streets.

A perfect weekend combining history, culture, gastronomy, and the vibrant atmosphere of two of Spain’s must-see destinations.
