Salamanca Erasmus Trips organiza un viaje a la naturaleza para hacer senderismo y conocer un espacio natural único, el Valle del Jerte (Cáceres), que podremos mirar en una primera parada que hará el autobús en el mirador de Tornavacas, para luego iniciar una de las rutas más bonitas de senderismo toda España conocida como “la garganta de los infiernos” con sus saltos de agua y cascadas.

 

¡No te olvides el bañador porque al llegar al final de la ruta nos bañaremos en estas piscinas naturales!

 

La ruta es de dificultad media y se tarda aproximadamente en hacer unas dos horas. No hace falta calzado ni equipación especial, pero evita llevar chanclas y calzado que no sea cómodo para caminar.

 

Tras realizar la ruta descansaremos y haremos un pic-nic junto al río así que no olvides tus bocadillos y bebidas.

 

Por la tarde nos dirigiremos a la histórica ciudad de "PLASENCIA", una de las localidades con más encanto del norte de Extremadura. Pasearemos por su precioso casco histórico, donde podremos admirar sus murallas medievales, sus plazas llenas de vida y sus monumentos más emblemáticos. También conoceremos la singular Catedral de Plasencia, formada por la unión de una catedral antigua y una nueva, un caso único en la arquitectura española. Tendremos tiempo libre para recorrer sus calles, disfrutar de su ambiente y descubrir la gastronomía local antes de regresar a Salamanca.

Salamanca Erasmus Trips organizes a trip to nature to go hiking and get to know a unique natural space, the Jerte Valley (Cáceres), which we can see at a first stop that the bus will make at the Tornavacas viewpoint, and then begin one of the most beautiful hiking routes throughout Spain known as “the throat of hell” with its waterfalls and waterfalls..

 

Don't forget your swimsuit because when we reach the end of the route we will bathe in these natural pools!

In the afternoon, we will head to the historic city of "PLASENCIA", one of the most charming towns in northern Extremadura. We will stroll through its beautiful historic center, where we can admire its medieval walls, lively squares, and some of its most emblematic monuments. We will also discover the unique Cathedral of Plasencia, which combines an old and a new cathedral in the same complex, a remarkable example of Spanish architecture. There will be free time to explore the city, enjoy its atmosphere, and discover the local gastronomy before returning to Salamanca.
